SUMMARY: Under Armour is looking for a Senior Manager, Marketing Operations EMEA based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The position reports directly to the Sr. Director Marketing for EMEA. The ideal candidate will have a track-record of stakeholder leadership, operational excellence, change management, and brand planning, with strong organizational and communication skills.
The position is responsible for managing the marketing production & go-to-market process to ensure the timely delivery of brand & retail marketing assets. All while working closely with the cross-functional teams, both global & regional, internal, and external to both establish and optimize production processes and effective working across the EMEA regional marketing function.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Marketing Planning & Project management
• Manage marketing processes across the regional marketing organization, across all functions, but in particular: Creative, Category Marketing, Consumer Engagement, Retail Marketing, & E-commerce.
• Own the seasonal marketing calendar and partner with leadership to communicate and manage accountability for campaigns, dates, & deliverables across marketing team
• Project manage the region-specific briefing & approval process, campaign planning & specific creative work-streams
• Forecast Regional Creative workload and recommend in-house / agency allocation for each brief
• Highlight risks to projects ahead of time and take a pro-active, problem solving approach with the team to avoid delays
• Manage the Regional Marketing Ops team, freelancers and creative team from briefing stage to delivery through effective project management to ensure on-time delivery of regional assets.
Go to Market Process
• Lead the go-to-market process from a regional marketing perspective, making sure timely alignment of Merchandising, Channel Marketing and Sales, on key campaigns, looks and athletes
• Drive improvements of the go-to-market process, outlining key meetings, deliverables and milestones.
• Ensure marketing teammates are aware of their responsibilities and deliverables for timely and effective go to market process. Manage dates and gates.
Global Communication
• Partner with global marketing operations team to tie into global process & calendar
• Ensure regional needs are accounted for in process and communicated up & down
• Organize marketing alignment, communication & meeting cadence with marketing functions for all global touchpoints (pitch-backs, share-outs etc.)
Marketing Budget
• Support marketing leadership in forecasting budgets for each marketing function.
• Track the brand budget, ensuring that forecasts are met, invoices are received on time and approved, ensuring alignment and regular communication with the finance team.
• Work with Finance team to ensure marketing team are sufficiently informed and trained to perform budgeting tasks.
Marketing tools & ways of working
• Ensure the Marketing team is trained to use the marketing tools most efficiently; DAM, Asana, Workfront a.o.
• Define Roles and Responsibilities throughout each marketing process, keep the team on track and hold everyone accountable for their tasks.

Education And / Or Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
• 8-10 years of experience, in project-, stakeholder- management and brand planning within Europe across sports and/or lifestyle brand(s). (or equivalent combination of education and relation experience).
• 3-5 years of management experience; leading and influencing a team
• Fluency of English, both conversational and written is an essential function.
• Experience working for either a start-up or high-growth organization is a plus.
• Prior experience working for an international brand with a strong, premium and distinct culture.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
