The position

As Software Tester you will be responsible for testing all software within the organization. You will also apply software changes when requested. In this role, you are working in several project teams and therefore be involved in all phases in the software testing process. In the design phase you will be involved in the approach of the different test scenarios, so you have enough time to prepare all your activities. To ensure the quality, you will be involved until the delivery of the project.

In this role you will work closely together with the IT Business Analysts and the IT Project Managers within different project teams. Weekly contact with one of our customers is also part of your job. You will be based in Waalwijk and will be responsible for various assignments in the Netherlands and abroad.

Key responsibilities

– Establish, maintain and monitor test methodology and coordinate with all your stakeholders;

– Set up and maintain the test environment;

– Motivate and discuss test methodology with your manager;

– Drafting procedures and best practices regarding possible tests;

– Identify bottlenecks, risks and opportunities;

– Drafting specific test objectives, procedures, script, environment and preconditions, as well as the methods and techniques to be used;

– Creating the test plan, planning and cost calculation.

Your background

– A graduate degree in IT, Software Development or a similar degree;

– Experience in e-commerce and/or logistics is a plus;

– Minimum of 1 year work experience in a similar role;

– You are analytical, perfectionistic and you have good communication skills;

– You are a strong communicator with perfect English language skills, Dutch is a plus;

– Fulltime available.
